Allendale is a south side neighbourhood in Edmonton that was primarily developed in the post-war period which is 1946 to 1960. Allendale is a mix of houses, duplexes and lowrise apartment blocks. Rental rates are about 46% according to the 2006 census, and my guess is that it hasn’t changed much, although as more infills are built in Allendale, it is likely that renters will slowly be pushed out because of rising prices.
