Argyll is a small south side neighbourhood that is pretty much surrounded by the southern tip of the Mill Creek Ravine. It’s a small neighbourhood bordering on industrial area to the south, so I think it gets overlooked by some buyers. It’s a really cool spot, though. The vast majority of homes in Argyll were built in the 1950s – the post-war period. 95% of Argyll homes are detached houses with a few duplex exceptions. Also, over 80% of Argyll real estate is owner occupied. Because the neighbourhood is so small, there aren’t any schools in Argyll. There is, however, the Velodrome, a Chinese Christian Church and a Japanese Community Association. The park to the north has four baseball diamonds as well.
