Brander Gardens is a neighbourhood in Riverbend just south of Fort Edmonton Park and right beside the river valley. It’s a pretty sweet neighbourhood with a super private location. Almost all of the houses there were built in the 1970s and the construction is fairly equally houses, townhouses and lowrise apartments units. More than half places are owner occupied. There are a few schools in Brander Gardens – Brander Gardens School which is an elementary and Riverbend School which is a junior high school.
