A million dollar house in Edmonton is always going to be everything you want, right? I tell people whenever they shop for a home that you will never be totally satisfied with anything – even if you’re buying a million dollar house. The more money you spend, the more you’ll expect. When you had half a million dollars to spend on a house, you were ok living 45 minutes from work; now that you have a million to spend on a house, you expect to live ten minutes from downtown. Guess what the result is? Your house might be the same size as before, and just be in a different neighbourhood! Craziness! Many people call these luxury homes, but that has a connotation that this is where homeowners just relax and entertain. There’s more to owning an expensive house than just luxury.
