The detached houses comprise 83% of the make-up of the neighbourhood. Almost all of the homes in Ogilvie Ridge were built after 1986 and properties in the area are much more expensive than other areas and is a pretty desirable neighbourhood. Houses here are said to be in excellent shape. Ogilvie Ridge is located between the ravine and Rabbit Hill Road. There are no schools in Ogilvie, but nearby Bulyea Heights has an elementary school.
