westmount edmonton small mapWestmount is a west-central neighbourhood in Edmonton that is very close to being considered downtown. Westmount is one of the oldest neighbourhoods and still has many older homes, although infills are getting extremely common in the area. Over half of Westmount real estate is lowrise apartments and the rest is mostly houses. The owner-renter ratio is about 50/50 with so many affortable apartments and so many expensive houses. Properties range from 350 ft² all the way up to mansions over 5000 ft²! Schools in Westmount include only Westglen, which is an elementary school.
