In 2016, $250,500.
Long Answer
The average price of a condo in Edmonton (including in this case) apartment condos and townhouses. Any of these categories could be broken down, but lumping them together in this case should be ok. This is a great way to get an idea of what property costs are in general if you’re thinking of buying a condo in Edmonton.
To give an idea of what prices mean today, condo prices (rounded to the nearest $500) from 2008 to 2016 today were:
• 2008 – $ 252,000
• 2009 – $ 237,500
• 2010 – $ 238,500
• 2011 – $ 229,500
• 2012 – $ 233,000
• 2013 – $ 241,000
• 2014 – $ 252,000
• 2015 – $ 253,000
• 2016 – $ 250,500
And here are the prices in a chart:

Prices of condos from 2008 to 2016
Overall, condo prices are actually lower than they were in 2008 – eight years later, but not by much. They haven’t rallied like house prices have. I hope this gives an idea of what an ‘average’ condo costs in Edmonton and what has happened in general in the condo market.
